A digital footprint is the trail of data one leaves online. It includes browsing history, social media activity, and uploaded files. To protect privacy:

  • Think before posting or sharing online.

  • Antivirus: Install and scan your device with antivirus software to detect threats.
  • Firewall: Enable Windows Defender Firewall or install third-party firewalls to protect your network.
  • Safe Browsing: Use browsers with security features, enable pop-up blockers, and only visit trusted sites.
